Hi,

My name is Andrea Brogan and I had a stroke in 2018. When I was at the rehab hospital, I was using a hemiwalker and the therapists didn’t really trust me to stand or walk too long so I used a wheelchair a lot. We practiced getting into a car simulator at the rehab hospital, but I still had my concerns about my strength to get in and out of our truck. When I joined BBF, they really listened to my concerns and supported me. My confidence has skyrocketed since my start here and the therapists have introduced me to many different modalities like music therapy, VR and the Galileo vibrational system. We are working on my endurance right now as my summer goal is to complete the Silt 5k in July!

For this reason, I wanted to pay it forward by helping fundraise for their '23 Bridging Mobility Campaign. I am asking for your support to help me raise my personal goal of $500. With 64% of the athletes that Bridging Bionics serves needing financial assistance, donations will go directly towards scholarships that will cover their annual $500 program fee. Overall, by mobilizing together, we hope to raise a total of $20,000 for this cause and any amount of donation counts!
